Happy 2015 everyone - hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year!
Wow, hasn't the last 8 weeks just flown by and good old Dunedin has put on a pretty impressive summer weather wise! My daughter Kate was back to school today and had a brilliant first day, so it's back to life and back to reality in the Rodger household.
The Toy Library reopens it's doors this Saturday (7th February) from 10am - 11.30am, we had a good number of holiday hires last year, so it's time to clean up those toys and bring them back to exchange for something new.
As we are opening on a holiday weekend (Waitangi Day) we know not all of you will be able to make it in.....but don't panic we will be open again on Thursday and the following Saturday as normal and look forward to seeing you again then.
We had some great games and puzzles donated at the end of last year that are now available on our shelves to hire - a favourite of mine is "Simon", some of you parents may remember this electronic coloured memory game from the eighties and it's still a lot of fun! We also have all your old favourites as well as a couple of new additions, so make sure you pop in and check out what is available.
We'd love some fresh faces on our committee this year, so if your interested in being part of the background success of our library let me know........I'm also on the hunt for a new assistant librarian - if you are interested or know anyone who might be.... come and see me with any questions you might have.
I look forward to seeing you and your "cherubs" in the coming weeks!
Many thanks Bex
